Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ScoreTT (the “App”) is operated by Imagage Inc, a New Jersey corporation located at 9 Lenape Ln, West Windsor, NJ 08550 (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, your rights, and how to contact us. By using ScoreTT, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number (optional), password (stored as a salted hash), and profile photo (optional) when you register or update your profile.

Sign-In Provider Data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a Google-issued ID token, which we verify and discard. We do not store Google passwords or long-lived tokens.

Game and Club Data: Match results, player statistics, tournament progress, club rankings, club memberships, club announcements, and check-in events for table tennis and carrom matches you play through the App.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect approximate location (foreground only, while the App is open) to show nearby clubs and to auto-fill your club address. We do not track your location in the background.

Photos and Camera: When you upload a profile picture or club logo, the photo you select or capture is sent to our servers. We do not access or scan your photo library beyond the image you choose.

Push Notification Tokens: A device-specific push token issued by Apple (APNs), Google (FCM), or Expo so we can send you match reminders, club updates, and announcements.

Diagnostics and Crash Logs: When the App crashes or encounters an error, we automatically send a crash report containing the error message, stack trace, your operating system version, App version, and your user ID to our servers so we can fix bugs. Crash logs are auto-purged after 90 days.

Device Information: Device model, OS version, App version, IP address, and a non-advertising device identifier used for security and debugging.

Information We Do Not Collect: We do not access your contacts, calendars, microphone, health data, or biometric data. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID), and we do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • App Functionality: create and manage your account, record matches, calculate rankings, manage clubs, and deliver notifications.
  • Communications: send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, account deletion confirmation) and in-app notifications.
  • Security: detect fraud, prevent account takeover, and lock accounts after repeated failed logins.
  • Improvement: diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve features.
  • Legal Compliance: meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. Legal Bases (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your data on these legal bases: contract (to provide the App you signed up for), consent (location, push notifications, optional photo), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and legal obligation (tax records, lawful requests).

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Other Club Members: your name, profile picture, match results, and club rankings are visible to members of clubs you join.
  • Service Providers: Google Sign-In (authentication), Google Maps (club location display), Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo Push (notifications), and our hosting provider for the API at api.g1sathi.com.
  • Legal Requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

6. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access ScoreTT from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards where required.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, games, scores, club memberships, push tokens, and uploaded media within 30 days. Anonymized aggregates and information we are legally required to retain (transaction records for tax or audit, fraud-prevention logs) may be kept up to 7 years. Crash logs are auto-purged after 90 days.

8. Data Security

All traffic between the App and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS). Passwords are stored as bcrypt-salted hashes. Authentication tokens are stored in the secure enclave (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore via expo-secure-store). We apply role-based access controls on our backend. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Your Rights

Everyone: you can access, correct, or delete your account and personal data through the App’s Profile settings or by contacting us.

EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR): right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Right to withdraw consent. Right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We respond within 30 days.

California (CCPA / CPRA): right to know, right to delete, right to correct, right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and right to non-discrimination. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We respond within 45 days.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time:

Upon deletion we permanently remove your profile, games, scores, club memberships, push tokens, and uploaded media within 30 days, subject to the limited retention exceptions in Section 7.

11. Children’s Privacy

ScoreTT is a general-audience application intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact support@scorett.app.

13. Apple App Store and Google Play

When you install ScoreTT from the App Store or Google Play, those platforms may collect their own data subject to their privacy policies. We declare our data collection in the Apple App Privacy Nutrition Labels and the Google Play Data Safety form, which match this Policy.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new “Effective Date” at the top. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email.
